我今天要分享的故事，是發生在我高二的時候。

高二剛開學的第一周，我與我的社團夥伴，
因為要招攬新生，因此參加了學校的社團活動。

我們準備了一齣文情必茂的舞台劇，
還加入了校歌在裏頭，我們非常期待這次的演出，
而且準備相當的充分。由於，話劇的表演是在當天的下午，
於是午飯後我與我的同伴們，就在學校的操場騎腳踏車，
紓解緊張的情續，沒有想到就在一個急轉彎的時候，
我居然跌倒了？！

跌倒的當下，我下意識用我的右手撐住了我的身體，
當時覺得我的手一震劇痛！但是還是很努力的把車牽起來，
因為心裡想著要完成社團的表演，所以就完全不管手上的痛楚，
還是盡力的完成了表演，但是很痛，
而且整隻右手處於無法動彈的狀態。
所以我只好在事後去看門診，才發現我的手已經骨折了，
但是我還是盡全力地完成了表演。
這叫告訴我們：不管遇到多大的困難，多大的痛楚，
我們都一定要完成當下的目表，堅持到底是唯一原則，謝謝評價！

The story I'm going to share today happened when I was a sophomore in high school.

In the first week of school, the club had to recruit new students.
Me and my classmates participated in school club performances.
We prepared a stage play that perfectly integrated the school song
and were very looking forward to this stage play, and very well prepared.

Since the club performances were in the afternoon,
we were riding bikes on the school field to relieve our tension.
Suddenly, after a sharp turn my bike crashed,
I instinctively used my right hand to hold my body.
I felt very uncomfortable and tingling, but I still finished our club performance.

After the event was over, my hand hurt even more
so I went to the doctor and found out my hand fracture….
But I still finished my work.
This story taught me
“No matter how difficult it is, how much pain, we still need to do our best to achieve our current goals."

ARTIST STATEMENT

What is the artwork about?
這幅作品的靈感來自我媽媽在她上 9 年級的那一年。那天，她在午餐後和她的朋友在演出開始前騎自行車。 不幸的是，出現了一個大轉彎，使自行車失控，並撞毀了。 但她還是以某種方式完成了整個節目。
在我的畫中，我畫出了摔車後，她把自行車扶正的畫面！
This artwork was inspired by my mom from the year she was in 9th grade. That day, she was riding her bike with her friend after lunch before the show started. Unfortunately, she took a sharp turn which made the bike go out of control and crash. Well, she still finished the whole show somehow.
In my painting, I drew the scene of the crash and her holding her bike right after she picked it back up.

What can you see in the picture?
這是一個摔車的場合，它包括建築物，當然還有跑道，是的，他們騎在跑道上，是不是很酷！ 而我也加入了一些草當作裝飾與點綴。
我為我的油漆選擇了 ⌈淺綠色、深綠色和深紅色⌋。 原因之一是建築物很舊，而且跑道很亂。 :) 暗色到可以比亮色調更能體現出老舊的感覺。
Well, it is the crash scene, including the buildings and of course a running track, yes they were riding on the running track, isn’t it cool! Then there’s some grass for decoration.
I chose “Light Green, Dark Green, and Dark Red” for my paint palette. One of the reasons is that the buildings were old, also the track was messy. :) Dark conveys oldness better than light colors can!

What was your goal when making this artwork?
一旦我開始我的繪畫，我立刻覺得我搞砸了。 但是當我離完成越來越接近之餘，我認為它會越來越好！ 好吧，不是最好的，但至少我完成了它並且看起來不錯。
Once I started my painting, I instantly felt like I had messed up the drawing under it. But the more I finished, the better it got! Well, it didn’t turn out the best but at least I finished it and it looks good.

How do you want the viewer to feel when they look at your interview, transcript, and artwork?
在這幅畫中，我試圖畫出我媽媽墜摔車後牽起車的樣子。 我想表達我媽媽那一刻的痛苦，這也是我選擇深色的原因！ :D
In this painting, I am trying to draw the montment after my mom crashed. I'm trying to show the pain my mom felt at that moment, which is also a reason I chose darker colors! :D

What else do you want viewers to know about your artwork?
依照上題所說，我希望全世界的觀賞者能夠體會到我媽當時的疼痛與絕望。
同時也感受到觀看這幅畫那種不舒服的感覺。
Like I said, I hope every viewer can feel the pain my mom felt in that moment. As well, I hope everyone can feel how uncomfortable it was when they view this wonderful painting.
