在我念國中的時候，
在那個時候基本上考試多的忙不過來，
當時的我是一個很喜歡玩的學生，
所以當時成績並不好，
但是後來媽媽跟我說現在要是好好的學習
將來就可以把學到的東西應用在生活得很多事情，
於是我就忍了下來決定好好的上課和好好的學習。
當時我壓力很大
因為以前會把成績公布給所有學生看，
如果成績太差會沒有朋友，
所以我把我所有的休息時間都用來寫功課和複習功課，
因為太累了媽媽常常泡咖啡給我喝讓我有精神。
這樣讓我的身體不舒服，
更沒有精神上課，
原本打算放棄，
但是媽媽跟我說在放棄之前需要先想到未來，
所以我決定繼續努力。
每次遇到困難就會想到媽媽跟我說
一直努力到底不要放棄才會有收穫。

When I was in middle school,
On the whole, I had more exams than I could deal with.
At the time, I was the kind of student
who loved going out to play
so my grades weren’t very good at that time
but later my mother told me that if I studied hard now,
I’ll be able to use those knowledge what I’ve learned
in my life in the future,
so I endured it and decided to be studious and dedicated in class.

At that time, I was under a lot of pressure
because teachers can post everyone’s grades in public.
If your grades were very bad, it was hard to make friends,
so I spent all my free time doing and revising homework.

Because I was too tired,
my mother often made coffee for me in order
to keep me energized.
This made my body feel uncomfortable
and I didn't have enough energy to attend activities.
I originally planned to give up
but my mother told me before giving up,
I needed to think about the future
so I decided to continue working hard at it.
Every time I encounter difficulties,
I think of what my mother told to me;
work hard to the end and never give up
and then you will reap the reward.

ARTIST STATEMENT

What is the artwork about?
This is a picture of my parents in the classroom.

What can you see in the picture?
One student is writing, another student is sleeping on the desk, and finally there is a teacher, the teacher is teaching behind the students, and the teacher has a computer in his hand.

What was your goal when making this artwork?
I want to draw something in 3D, because it will look more real and it will give me a sense of accomplishment.

How do you want the viewer to feel when they look at your interview, transcript, and artwork?
I learned a lot of painting skills, which made my painting progress faster, and I also painted more pictures that I had never painted before.

What else do you want viewers to know about your artwork?
because I want to draw better, I have to learn slowly so I can progress.
