What do you remember about where you grew up?
I lived in Douliu City, Yunlin, where the air was cleaner and more spacious.
It was a simple little village.
Grandma lived in a Japanese-style house there when she was a child,
and my dad grew lots of flowers.
That was when flowers and plants were used in place of fences.
So fragrant.
I remember guava and mangoes growing too,
climbing up and picking them off the trees.
