你還記得你長大的地方嗎？
我出生在高雄。 這是一個大城市，我家周圍有很多建築物，還有一個公園。

你小時候喜歡做什麼？
當我還是個孩子的時候，我喜歡看小說，也喜歡玩樂高積木。 也許和我的朋友去公園。

What do you remember about a place you grew up in?
I was born in Kaohsiung. It's a big city. There were a lot of buildings around my house and also a park.

What did you like to do as a kid?
When I was still a kid I loved to read novels, play Legos, and maybe go to the park with my friends.

ARTIST STATEMENT

我認為藝術品是創作者想表達的東西，可以是想法、審美或是情感的表達，可以用繪畫、雕塑、照片、素描、拼貼畫、音樂等方式呈現。而且藝術是主觀的，創作者怎麼表達都不應該被他人定義，每個人對一件藝術品的解讀都不一樣。
我在我的畫裡面看到很多高樓大廈，這個城市很單調無趣，但在很多大樓的旁邊有一個公園，這讓覺得城市枯燥乏味的人可以放鬆。
我創作這幅畫時的目標是希望在忙碌的城市裡工作的人不要忘了放鬆休息，就像在很多大樓裡的公園一樣，再忙碌也也有一個地方讓你玩樂休息。
我希望觀眾在欣賞我的作品時放鬆的，並且在工作以外的時間可以好好放鬆。
我希望在生活上感到疲憊的人可以透過我的作品去好好放鬆休息，他的城市裡不只有辦公大樓。

I think an artwork is what the creator wants to express, it can be an expression of ideas, aesthetics or emotions, it can be presented in paintings, sculptures, photographs, drawings, collages, music, etc. Moreover, art is subjective. How the creator expresses should not be defined by others. Everyone has a different interpretation of a work of art.
I see a lot of tall buildings in the painting. The city is dull but there is a park next to the building so that those who think the city is boring can relax.
My message in creating this painting is for people who work in a busy city not to forget to relax, just like in the parks surrounded by many buildings, there is still a place for you to play and rest no matter how busy you are.
I want the audience to relax while enjoying my artwork, and to relax outside of their work.
I hope that people who are tired in life can relax and rest through my artwork. There are not only office buildings in this city.
