Worn maroons and umbers create a rising temperature while the sea green resting in the background causes temperatures to fall. Cold-pressed watercolor paper provided plenty of tooth for the pens and markers to pile on one another. After diving into a new city, job, and lease in the span of a few days, the excitement of new beginnings was met with the demand of follow-through. I was trading vacation mode out for routine but finally doing it in a place I'd been wanting to call home for years.
